BEST BUY UPDATE. I just talked to someone at the store in my area and he said the CE is in transit by Fedex so it should be arriving later tonight or tomorrow. You may want to check in your area as well!

Seems we have some extra. The one I work at (in Scarborough) got two copies in of the CE (the two I'd ordered). Having found out about the soon-to-be char slots for purchase, Im' turning my 2nd account into storage only, therefore don't need a CE (so rush to Scarborough everyone

) I snapped up my copy of course. The website (www.game.net) seems to still have some in stock as well. So if you want a copy check your local GAME, but be FAST, they still haven't sent many out

I gotta say though, this is one of the best things that coulda happened to those of us who can get it; there are SO many people admiring you when you do the dance emote

hehe. Was just in both the Monastery and Tsumei Village and of course they were busy; I was the only person there with a Factions CE. So those who have it, enjoy it while it's scarce

Could you tell me which area are you in? I went to my local Best Buy store (Maryland) this morning, and they had no idea when the CE will come out. I got the SE with free T-shirt, but I'm still hoping they will get some CE in a few days, then I can exchange my copy to CE.

because i'm getting my game from bestbuy in-store i probably wont get ce (it's probably not arriving like anet has said) or sold out in a few hours because poor me is too young to drive

But it's cool that you got ce must be sweet with all those goodies

I got my regular edition today, just after Best Buy opened. They had a bunch on the shelves. Got my t-shirt too. I've gone ahead and canceled the CE I'd pre-ordered from gamestop. I'd been on the fence about the usefulness of it, so took the delay as a sign to not get it. lol Maybe Chap 3 will be more to my taste.

So far I have called stores in 5 different states and I'm getting the same tune for the most part.. "We wont have it till May 5th". I'm not even sure how definate that date is. Did anyone here in the USA manage to get a copy of the CE? If so let me know what state your in and i'll have to work some magic to go get one.

I could see this happening, but highly unlikely.

The system, when I checked at ~ noon today, didn't even show any ALLOCATED TO BE SENT.

However, your area could be special.

There are at least two confirmed Best Buy employee's (me and Studio Ghibli) eagerly waiting for the CE. Trust me. When Best Buy gets it, you'll know. We'll post about it.

No shortage in the Netherlands as far as I've noticed. Free Record Shop had them going over the counter and delivered at home the morning of the 28th.

Im confused as to where are the stores getting this may 5th date from?

when on guildwars' site it says "we expect those to ship in the U.S. on June 30, 2006." .. maybe there are aload of CE copies floating about?

Hmm seems they are readily available overseas... not sure its worth paying for the inflated shipping.. or if i would even get it before it arives here...

Was wondering the same thing myself..... Which leads me not to believe the May 5th date but So far about 25 stores in 6 states have given the same dates so far, with the exception of best buy which is giving the 19th of may.

I havnt checked Europe since it would take 2 weeks+ to get here nad would cost me an arm and a leg. From the looks of it so far no stores in the US got it, but I wont know that till I call about 44 more states.... Good thing my long distance is free.
